Backup Power
Don’t let Load Shedding and Power interruption get in the way of your business
Solutions
Backup Power Solutions include
UPS offers power protection for connected devices. When power is interrupted, or fluctuates outside safe levels, a UPS will instantly provide clean battery backup power and surge protection for plugged-in, sensitive equipment.
We offer a wide range of Online and Offline UPS systems from the smallest desktop UPS up to the Server room suitable UPS.
Inverter units connected along with batteries are an alternative backup power solution used in commercial and home environment to provide power through those difficult load shedding hours and other unplanned power outages. The inverter charges the batteries during normal DC power and automatically switches over from DC to AC (battery power) when there is power failure or load shedding. Once normal DC power is restored or the load shedding is over, the Inverter unit then again automatically switches over from AC to DC power and continues to charge the batteries.
The nice part is that during these inter-switching processes there isn’t a power drop which may result in your lights going off for seconds or devices rebooting. All devices and lights maintain constant power while Inverter moves from DC to AC and/or from AC to DC power.
The advantages of Inverter Systems include:
- Overload protected
- Produces no noise
- No petrol/diesel fuelling compared to engines and Generators
- No fume emission (Co2)
- Reduced maintenance costs
Our Inverter Units vary in different capacity sizes from 1200VA which is a simple plug and play, up to 5000VA units.
Our Inverter Installations are issued with Certificate of Compliance (COC) where required.
Hybrid Solar Solution runs on solar generated power and normal DC power. A Hybrid Inverter unit is deployed in this configuration together with backup batteries for power outages or when there is no sun for generating solar power.
The Solar Hybrid Inverter prioritize the solar power, if the demand exceeds the solar power it then supplements with normal power from the mains. When the solar power exceeds the power demand, the excess power is used to charge batteries. Once batteries are fully charged the excess power is fed back into the grid.
Our Inverter Installations are issued with Certificate of Compliance (COC) where required.
